The Rev. Andrea Mysen, Director of Chicago CCD

The Rev. Andrea Mysen is the Canon to the Ordinary and Chief of Staff for the Diocese of Chicago. In this role she works closely with the bishop’s staff to support and implement the bishop’s vision for the diocese. 

Andrea has been Director of the College for Congregational Development (CCD) in Chicago since 2017. Prior to joining the bishop’s staff in 2014, Andrea was rector at Trinity Church, Highland Park, and curate at All Saints, Chicago. She graduated from Seabury- Western Theological Seminary in 2004, and holds other degrees from Denver Seminary and Texas Christian University. Prior to ordained ministry, Andrea had careers in banking and adolescent psychotherapy.

Andrea lives in Wilmette, IL with her spouse, two teenagers, a very large dog and too many cats.
