The Rev. Kristin Krantz, Director for the Diocese of Maryland

Kristin is the rector of St. James’ Episcopal Church in Mount Airy, MD and the Director of the College for Congregational Development in the Diocese of Maryland. She graduated from Episcopal Divinity School with a Masters of Divinity in 2006 and was ordained to the priesthood later that year. Kristin was first exposed to The College in 2014 when the congregation where she was serving as the associate rector sent a team to Olympia. After moving cross country she was finally able to attend in 2018. She then began working to bring The College to the Diocese of Maryland, eventually launching in 2021. Prior to ordained ministry Kristin taught both middle and high school. In some circles she is known as a curator of pop-culture religious kitsch. She lives in Maryland with her sons, their two guinea pigs, and their dog Ginger.
