The Rev. Canon Alissa Newton, Director for the Diocese of Olympia

Alissa is the Canon for Congregational Development and Leadership Formation for the Diocese of Olympia, a role which involves oversight of The College as well as the Congregational Consulting Network, leadership formation and clergy support, and congregational development.  Alissa is also Vicar at St. Columba’s Episcopal Church in Kent, WA.  She holds a certificate from the Church Development Institute and has been working as a trainer with the College for Congregational Development since it began in 2009. Alissa holds a BA in Christian Theology from Seattle Pacific University and  a Masters of Divinity from Seattle University.
