Phil has served as the rector at All Souls Parish in Berkeley, California since the fall of 2008. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and the General Theological Seminary, Phil has long had an interest in what makes and keeps all kinds of Christian communities vital. Since attending the College for Congregational Development, he has become a zealous evangelist for its models, stances, and practices.
