Prior to moving to the Pacific Northwest, Paula served on the staff of the Diocese of Indianapolis as Canon for Education and Christian Formation where she did program and leadership development. Since coming to Seattle in 2013, Paula has worked with congregations in the search process as well as conducting vestry retreats and MMRs. As a search consultant, she is trained to interpret the HolyCow Church Assessment Tool. She enjoys working with groups to help them discover their gifts and to respond to where God is calling them in the future. As a spiritual director, she brings a sense of prayerful discernment into her consultant work. She is also Editor for Scripture for Synthesis Publications, a lectionary guide for preaching and study.
